Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) does not define this website as a consumer reporting agency. Neither its content nor results from linked outside tools may support decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other FCRA-regulated matter.
How Current Is the Information
Custodians correct rolls, replace portals, revise fees, and expand digital coverage. Library collections can also move. Although pages are maintained, no office detail or record description is guaranteed to remain current. Verify material with the responsible custodian before relying on it.
Not Legal Advice
The site does not give legal advice. It identifies sources and explains how Kanawha County records and directories can be accessed, but it cannot replace advice from a licensed attorney.
Lawful Use Only
Public access exists to support transparency, not harm. Never use information reached here to stalk, harass, intimidate, or injure a person. Misuse may violate West Virginia or federal law, including W. Va. Code ยง61-2-9A, and breaches the Terms of Use.
Outside Search Providers
Outside companies power search boxes that appear on some pages. We do not control their results, charges, or handling of submitted information. Their output is not an FCRA-compliant consumer report.
Links Beyond This Site
References may lead to the Kanawha County Assessor and Clerk, election tools, courts, libraries, archives, and comparable sources. Each outside operator controls its own content, accuracy, and availability.
Records Remain With Custodians
No government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital certificate is hosted here. Those materials remain with the offices, libraries, and portals linked from the content. Ask the correct custodian to obtain, verify, or amend a record.
